Kym Ellery
I like her blue hair.. a lot.
and yellow hair.
and rings.
Ellery Fall 2011
I think there’s something to be noted of Aussie designers… One Teaspoon is up there in one of my top favorite casual lines then there’s always Sass & Bide and Ksubi… Ellery has happened to be the latest that’s caught my eye..

too late to buy sweaters?
Well, I don’t think so. Not in NYC at least. Didn’t know Mother Nature was such a tease.

texas trip
I really thought this weekend I’d take more pictures but sadly I didn’t… I get so caught up in the moment(s) I guess. First stop this weekend, Dallas, was so much fun. We played the same House of Blues we always play, the same House of Blues I’ve gotten all (3) of my tattoos backstage at, but the tattoo artist didn’t come to the show this time… It was another...
Anonymous asked: Why no pic of the ring? Is there any rhyme or reason for that?

Back on board.
Spring, soon come, soon come.
Phew! Funny how exhausting actual work is. You wish and wish and hope and pray for it to come flowing in then it happens and you wish and wish and hope and pray for the weekend to come and really start looking to parties on Friday nights, not Tuesdays, and Saturdays of just..sleeping. Recently still I signed with a new agency here in New York City and it was the...

Kate
It’s almost—almost!—the time of year again for me where I just chop my hair into bangs—again..
I feel like Kate wears that black eyeliner like no other, and this campaign is just so perfectly undone yet composed as well. Mostly it’s going to make me dream of Summer tonight, I think. Right now I’m looking forward to the 40 degrees this weekend...
"crioulo"
I had dinner with a friend last night at The Lion here in NYC and the two Jean-Michel Basquiat pieces they have hanging adjacent to each other in the main dining room (which is gorgeous) reminded me of the exhibit the fiance and I went to see when we were in Paris in October. So inspiring.
The artist himself, with Madonna.
so hungry right now
fun fact: It’s turkey, not chicken…;)

January
13/16 days it rained on our Australia trip. Our favorite fruit. We took full advantage of the sun when it did finally come out. Gotta love a slice and Lost In Translation on a rainy night. Light lunch of rocket, white bean, tomato, tuna, brie with water crackers, Chardonnay and some cashews. Stumbled upon a russian Vodka Bar in Melbourne. A roadtrip to Nimbin. The...
A little January update.
Hello all.
So sorry for the utter lack of updates on my part. As you can see in the meantime my best friend Shelby Wild has been guest-blogging for me. Soon will come a post of all of January! It involves a lot of a rainy Australia, Los Angeles, maybe a little New York, I can’t even string together where we’ve been adventuring in the past month or so off the top of my head.
Now...

Bali wedding
Curled up in the wet sand all day long today reading Father of the Rain while he surfed. Now listening to pretty songs in practice, sipping a sunset cocktail. Lucky to get another dose of summertime here, right now.

I feel bad for not keeping up with this as much as I should be!
The holidays were a good excuse though….
{A Mississippi Christmas}
We went to Aspen after Christmas a few days before the new year for a show at the Belly Up. At dinner at Matsuhisa before we were lucky enough to get to meet chef Nobu Matsuhisa and spend some time with him as well as get a cookbook signed by him. One of...

what to bring
You can imagine how difficult it was to pack for last week.. Just about 3 different climates, yeah. Here’s what it looked like before I packed it all away.
A few short little party dresses-including the lace one you see-tights, a couple flannel button downs, a few nice tops, scarves, high and low-waisted cutoffs, a long flow-y dress and a few form-fitting skirts. As for shoes, wedges...

On The Road
That’s what I’ve been up to, traveling, all over… The usual being Mississippi for Thanksgiving where I went out like once and focused more on spending as much time with my whole family as I could, and had some awesome turkey (both regular and fried!). After being there for a week, I went back to Boston where we had a nice couple of days up in the castle with the boy, then on to...

sick and tired yet?
Well yeah I’m still going to blog about Lanvin x H&M because what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t?
Considering the only representation I saw of this brand were the window displays in the H&M on Newbury Street in Boston I really wasn’t so excited about this particular collaboration…but after a completely unsuccessful leisurely stroll this afternoon to H&M...
what about love →
The other night my love and I left the late night talk shows behind and turned to focus all our attention on the work of filmmaker-photographer Andrew Zuckerman. I’d stumbled upon his work while gathering inspiration for this blog and once I pressed play we were mesmerized. If you have time and instead of watching your regular television programs, lose yourself in his work and open your...

me & my best friend
Just kidding, it just made me think of that. I really love when photography actually becomes art. A lot of the time it bores me as an art form yet when something like this comes along it really challenges the whole just of it. It’s simply true.

Rubbed my eyes raw and almost used up a whole bottle of liquid eyeliner trying to do these eyes one night a couple weeks ago in Italy. Apparently after watching Factory Girl (not the end) and having too much wine, being Edie just felt so right. I put on my fur and disappeared into the night to go buy some cigarettes after a while and to look for something fun.

Just a few of our meals in Paris on our vacation last week.
This first day back after 8 weeks in Europe was blissfully relaxing.

No words!
Well, actually, it was like the heavens above me opened up and released a ray of light to shine down on me when I discovered this. A moment. I love this bag. I need this bag. I just told my new fiance that I wanted it for a wedding present from my mom. …and of course it was Kate Moss that designed it.

My lover and I are off to Paris this afternoon after a fun and crazy week in Milan-my last one finally!! I can’t wait! So much to see..
man oh man
…would I love a good new pair of leather pants right about now. I always feel too..hmm..shall we say… buttoned-up in just a plain white button-down shirt, but with leather pants, like Dree wears here, all preppiness goes out the window. Hot, probably the hottest, piece of wardrobe. A staple like none other. I mean of course I have the whole leather leggings, then the leggings that...
Gemma
I miss the days of Gemma. Props to her for going off on a different path than modeling, she killed it when she did work though. Glastonbury… Also too bad we won’t have that next year.

Freedom Child
More Kate, I know, but can we ever have too much of Miss Moss? Anyway this was most blog-worthy. The idea of absolute freedom never really gets old I suppose.
